Removing a moderate accumulation hard water stains is possible, but it requires special chemicals, tools and processes, which can be costly and time consuming.
Before the application of purified water for window cleaning, professional window cleaning required all the soapy water on the glass to be completely squeegeed off before drying, which was at times very difficult and dangerous.
